Manzanilla La Guita “For rebujito (typical alcohol mix for the Feria de Abril, in Seville)”

Written the May 4, 2012 by jlbecerra | Category: General, Fortified wine, Score: 3, Featured Post

La GuitaName: Manzanilla La Guita

Price: 8 € a bottle of 3/8 in ‘Feria de Sevilla’ (Sevillian Festival)

Origin: D.O. Sanlúcar – Jerez

Winery: Grupo Estévez

Score: high 3

I have the irrepressible desire to order another bottle… of Seven Up, of course! Because I don’t like this wine… It is small and short, with an aftertaste full of sweet sensations. It shocks me how different one bottle can be from the next. What is unbelievable about generous wines is that, even when they are bad, they are still big.

Bad wine exist everywhere, we

only have to know where they

are so that we can avoid them

BAD WINE: A wine that, at a specific moment or after tasting a particular vintage, makes me wish not to buy it again, because of its quality, its faults or the fact that its price is excessively high if compared to other wines in the market.
