Monte Ory 2009 “Price is not everything”

Written the July 22, 2011 by jlbecerra | Category: General, Score: 2, Red wine

Monte Ory 2009Name: Monte Ory 2009

Price: 2,70 € at VIPS supermarket

Origin: D.O. Navarra

Winery: Luis Gorpegui Muga S.A.

Score: high 2

Its presentation is in accordance with its price, although the cork is far from being good. Nice appearance, short nose and the typical bouquet of wines at this price. Short, alcoholic and stalky. It has the worst thing a wine can have: a tasteless, short and not at all comforting mouthfeel.

Yo le diría a la bodega: Hazlo bien, y no mires con que…. Para mi lo importante es que sea rico, agradable, ya se sabe que a estos precios no podemos pedir otra cosa.

Bad wine exist everywhere, we

only have to know where they

are so that we can avoid them

BAD WINE: A wine that, at a specific moment or after tasting a particular vintage, makes me wish not to buy it again, because of its quality, its faults or the fact that its price is excessively high if compared to other wines in the market.
