Freixenet Carta Nevada Semisec. “Amazing what advertising can do”

FreixenetName: Cava Freixenet Carta Nevada Semisec

Price: 6,20 € at Opencor

Origin: D.O. Cava

Winery: Freixenet S.A.

Score:low 4

I think this time I won’t be as objective as I usually intend to be. My personal taste is too strong in this case: I am unable to drink a cava that isn’t dry. This one is very expensive, a bit fruity to the nose, a little sweet to the mouth, too easy and without complications. I can see that, at a wedding, it will please non-drinkers who enjoy sweet cava. I won’t drink it again, I won’t subsidise grandiloquent ads.

    Felices Fiestas!

Bad wine exist everywhere, we

only have to know where they

are so that we can avoid them

BAD WINE: A wine that, at a specific moment or after tasting a particular vintage, makes me wish not to buy it again, because of its quality, its faults or the fact that its price is excessively high if compared to other wines in the market.
